My Story

Hadis successfully graduated from our PhD program and she was a former member of the Sustainable Polymers Research Lab (SPRL) in Chemical Engineering at Toronto Metropolitan University. Her research focused on the thermal and rheological characterization of biodegradable polymers, with particular emphasis on polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHAs) such as PHB, PHBV, and PHBH. She brings strong expertise in polymer rheology, thermal analysis, and the degradation behavior of biopolymers, using tools like rheometer, TGA, and DSC to evaluate their performance under processing conditions.

Hadis earned her M.Sc. in Biomaterials Engineering from the University of Isfahan, where she worked on the development of injectable thermosensitive hydrogels for myocardial tissue engineering and drug delivery. At SPRL, she contributes to projects aimed at improving the processability and thermal stability of sustainable polymers for industrial applications.

Outside the lab, Hadis is actively involved in scientific societies and academic service, having served as a conference volunteer, student judge, and 3MT presenter at different conferences.
